The ASPCA^® reports that 5.8 million dogs and cats entered shelters and rescues in 2025, where many live day after day waiting for the love of a family or a home. This October, Valenti Subaru will provide direct funding to Westerly Animal Shelter/Stand Up for Animals through a grant administered by the ASPCA^® to help cover costs for preparing animals for adoption, veterinary expenses, and more.



October 22 will be the 8^th annual National Make A Dog's Day, a day created by Subaru to encourage everyone to do something extra special for their pet. This year, we are asking people to consider adopting, fostering, or supporting older and disabled animals, "Underdogs", as a life-changing way to Make A Dog's Day.
